Train to Paradise

Day 01

Take a car from Colombo to Kandy and make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. After your cultural tour, pay a visit to the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic and then later visit the Royal Botanical Gardens. Finish your evening in Kandy by taking in the calm atmosphere.

Day 02

There are breathtaking views of Sri Lanka's highlands during the train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya. When visiting Nuwara Eliya, be sure to visit a nearby tea factory to observe the art of making tea. Take in the stunning mountain vistas while taking a leisurely evening boat ride in Gregory Lake. Spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 03

Take in the breathtaking scenery as you travel by train from Nanu Oya to Ella. You may be greeted with sweeping views of rolling hills and lush valleys. Stay in this quaint village for a while.

Day 04

For stunning views of Ella go to Little Adam’s Peak early in the morning. Observe the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a stunning architectural wonder situated in the midst of the forest. Enjoy one more evening once you're back in Ella, taking in the peace and beauty of the surroundings.

Day 05

Travel to Yala from Ella by car and stop at the stunning Ravana Waterfall en route and take a thrilling jeep safari ride in Yala National Park. Spend the night in Yala to round off the day.

Day 06

On day 6 of the tour, make your way over to Mirissa by car.

Day 07

Take a thrilling whale-watching trip in Mirissa to start the day off right. See the magnificent blue whales and dolphins then board a train to Bentota. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride at Bentota Turtle Hatchery along the Madu River. Allow yourself to unwind and take in the seaside city this evening, end your night in Bentota.

Day 08

Take the train to Colombo and explore the locals and their environment. Enjoy the lively streets, famous structures and captivating sights of Colombo once you are there. Enjoy your final night in Colombo and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

Day 09

Depart for the airport with unforgettable memories of your Sri Lankan adventure.
